In Okehampton, The Hollow Lane Club is always busy

A Saturday Club meets on alternate Saturdays from 10 am – 4 pm. There are currently 19 children and young people attending over two Saturdays a month, juniors one session and seniors the next.

As well as activities at our base, there are also regular day trips out. Popular destinations include the Miniature Pony Centre on Dartmoor, Trethorne Farm near Launceston and Bude on the North Cornwall coast.

The children and young people who attend are closely involved in the planning and development of the club.

The Hollow Lane Club runs a
Summer Holiday Playscheme in Okehampton during the school summer holiday. In 2006, 10 children a day attended for 12 days during August. Activities were carefully and appropriately planned, depending on the particular children attending. Indoor activities included arts and crafts, music, dance and movement. There were also frequent trips to local visitor attractions and picnics at nearby beauty spots.

We are also piloting
Festive and Easter Clubs during the two other main school holidays.
